Partner / Executive Director
Los Angeles based, Mark Gooder is one of the few Australian content executives to have run a vertically integrated international production and distribution company with a track record of critical and financial success. Mark established Icon Film Distribution in Sydney and grew it quickly to become the number one independent distribution company for six years running in Australia in the 2000’s. He built one of the strongest libraries of content of any independent in the local marketplace. Transferring to LA he continued to oversee the Icon Australia operation, including all acquisitions, until his departure in 2013. He was the first ever President of Acquisitions at The Weinstein Co where he developed further skills in the US and international marketplace. His knowledge of the content business and his innate understanding of what kind of stories content aggregators and audiences want has contributed to the success of Cornerstone Films, his international sales and financing company established in 2015 with partner Alison Thompson.
Debbie Gray is London based and a BAFTA nominated TV and Film producer. She was an Executive Producer at ITV developing and producing drama and observational documentaries. Debbie has also produced over 30 hours of drama and Light Entertainment for the BBC. In 2019, Genesius Pictures produced the number one independent film of the year, Mrs. Lowry & Son starring Vanessa Redgrave and Timothy Spall.
